Water Baptism

Water Baptism is the wedding ring for followers of Christ. It is an outward sign of an inward commitment. It is like putting on your wedding ring in your commitment with Christ. Water Baptism is a public declaration of three important things:

I AM A FOLLOWER OF JESUS!

"Those who accepted his message were baptized." Acts 2:41

I AM BEGINNING A CHANGED LIFE IN CHRIST!

"We are therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Romans 6:4

I AM PART OF A NEW FAMILY!

"So in Christ Jesus you are children of God through faith, for all who were baptized into Christ, have clothed yourself with Christ." Galatians 3:26,27
